Local Events and Partnerships

The Landmark Project has been fortunate to partner with some stellar local environmental organizations to keep our boots dirty and our city clean. We perform regular trail maintenance with Upstate SORBA at Paris Mountain State Park, volunteer as a team in river clean ups with Friends of The Reedy River, and oyster shell recycling with South Carolina’s DNR program known as SCORE. If you are interested in partnering with our team on any conservation initiatives, please reach out to us at

Below you can read about past Landmark community events and conservation initiatives.

Oyster Shell Recycling with the SC DNR

Our team joined forces with The South Carolina DNR’s Oyster Shell Recycling and Enhancement Program - SCORE. This community-based habitat restoration project is an important endeavor because oysters play a significant ecologic and economic role in South Carolina. Old Shells are picked up from restaurants and reused for habitat restoration and improved water quality.

Community Trail Runs

Men and women of all ages and fitness levels gathered weekly to hit the trails, break a sweat and enjoy the beauty of Paris Mountain State Park with us. We even created a collaborative holiday trail run party with Lululemon’s Downtown Greenville running club last December! Keep an eye out for the next time we kick start our community trail runs through our newsletter and social media pages.

Conservation Lecture & Author Talk

We were honored to host conservation guest speaker and author, Gary Machlis, on The Future of Conservation in America: A Chart for Rough Waters for a discussion on how conservation is intertwined with American Patriotism and the importance for the next generation to become leaders in conservation for this country. Grab a copy of the book and get inspired for yourself here.

First Friday Art Shows

Our first ever art show was a company-wide exhibit that showcased and celebrated our team’s wide range of artistic ability. For our second art show, our friends and partners at Methodical Coffee displayed their team’s creative talent throughout the shop. With art living at the core of our company, it is important for us to keep our store walls filled with it! If you are a Greenville artist interested in hosting a show in our shop, drop us a line at

 Galentine's Day Yoga Class

The ladies of Landmark celebrated the strong women of Greenville together through a nature inspired yoga class right here in our flagship store. We were led by True North Wellness and are excited to continue our partnership and friendship forward with more classes to come! Flow on and Namaste.

Local Popup Shops

As a small local business, we jump at any chance to help support other local businesses in Greenville. We hosted Fern & Folk’s handcrafted clay jewelry in our brick-and-mortar and had a blast. If you missed the in-store pop up, check out the rest of Fern & Folk’s jewelry on their page. If you want to partner with us for an in-store pop-up, don’t hesitate to reach out! We believe collaboration strengthen's our brand and our community.

Mountain Biking Clinics

We have been lucky enough to learn trail etiquette and tips from Blue Wall Adventures, a local mountain biking group that guides outdoor trips of all kinds. Whether on two wheels or two feet, it’s important to be safe and respectful of others and the environment before heading out on the trail. For anyone who needs brushing up on outdoor etiquette, we suggest checking out The 7 Principles of Leave No Trace: A foolproof framework for minimal impact while recreating.
