Give A Hoot, Don't Pollute Embroidered Patch
For the friend who bags their trash and packs their snacks with equal enthusiasm. “Give a Hoot, Don’t Pollute” keeps things fun while still calling out the good kind of peer pressure.
Please Note: These instructions are for ironing your patch onto cotton. For other fabrics or thicker garments, check the manufacturer’s recommended heat settings. For tougher fabrics, you may need to repeat steps 5 and 6 a few times to ensure a solid bond.
- Lay a thin cotton cloth (like a t-shirt or pillowcase) on a hard surface.
- Position the garment where you want the patch, face up.
- Place the patch on the garment.
- Cover the patch with a pressing cloth.
- Iron on high for 60 seconds with firm pressure.
- Flip the garment and repeat on the reverse side. Keep moving the pressing cloth to avoid scorching!
- Let it cool before handling.
Pro Tip: If the patch starts to lift, just reapply the heat to keep it stuck!
