Landmark Presents - Pacific Crest Trail Days

Pacific Crest Trail Days

Each year, hundreds of hikers gather in historic Cascade Locks, Oregon, to celebrate the Pacific Crest Trail and a shared love for the outdoors. This weekend-long festival in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge is a reunion for the thru-hikers who complete the rugged 2,650-mile trail and an amazing two days of food, music, and outdoor stewardship. In August, we joined them and headed to Oregon for this year’s PCT Days.

Over the weekend festival, we met and shared stories with dozens of hikers from around the world. It was incredible to meet so many hikers and hear their experiences.

At the Landmark tent, we invited thru-hikers to snap a Polaroid and sign their trail name alongside where they’re from. Of the millions of people who visit the Pacific Crest Trail each year, only several hundred complete the months-long trek from Mexico to Canada. Meeting the hikers who completed the trail was one of the best parts of the weekend for us. (If you stopped by our booth and got a Polaroid photo taken, you can download your image here!)

Before leaving, the Landmark team hit the trail and hiked to the alpine lakes in Mount Rainier National Park. We did the beautiful Tolmie Peak Lookout Trail and snapped some photos along the way.

PCT Days is already set for August 15 and 16, 2025.  If you haven’t been, it’s a great way to experience the Pacific Northwest and meet hikers and conservationists from across the country and the world. We’re already looking forward to next year. Maybe we’ll see you there!
