Holly Jolly Holiday Drinks

The holiday season is all about celebrating with loved ones, and what better way to raise a glass than with a festive cocktail in hand? Whether you're looking for a cozy drink to sip by the fire or the perfect party starter, these easy-to-make cocktails pair perfectly with dinner, dessert, and evenings spent with friends!

Kris Kringle’s Crisp Nor’easter

Our twist on the classic Nor'easter captures the cozy spirit of the season. With its warming blend of bourbon, maple syrup, and a touch of citrus, this cocktail is perfect for chilly December days— especially that week between Christmas and New Years!

Ingredients - Makes one drink

  • 1 ounce of lime juice (the juice of approximately one lime)
  • 4 ounces of bourbon
  • 1 ounce of maple syrup, or to taste
  • 2 ounces of cold ginger beer
  • Crushed graham cracker and a toasted marshmallow for the garnish

1. Combine the lime juice, bourbon, and maple syrup in a cocktail shaker (or a mason jar with a lid). This cocktail tastes best cold, so pop it in the refrigerator for a few minutes while you garnish your glass. You can also add a couple of ice cubes!

2. As your drink chills, crush the graham crackers into fine dust and spread the crumbs onto a small plate. Paint one side of the glass with simple syrup or honey and roll the glass in the crumbs to create a graham cracker side detail.

3. Pour your drink mixture into the garnished glass and top it up with cold ginger beer.

4. Toast a marshmallow over your campfire or stove and place the melty mallow along the rim of your glass.

Now take a sip, toast to the season, and make one more!

Eggnog Jell-O Shots

Add a fun twist to your holiday festivities with our Eggnog Jell-O Shots— your new favorite nog-tail! Try our classic or non-alcoholic recipe for a treat as tasty as your favorite Christmas cookie.

Ingredients - Makes 12

  • 1 cup of eggnog
  • 1 (0.25-oz.) packet of unflavored gelatin
  • 3/4 cup of RumChata
  • 1/4 cup of brandy
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg, plus more for garnish
  • 12 cinnamon sticks
  • Whipped topping and sprinkles for a garnish

1. Pour the eggnog into a small saucepan and sprinkle the gelatin over top. Let the eggnog and gelatin sit for 10 minutes before heating, allowing the gelatin to bloom.

2. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a low simmer, whisking constantly as the gelatin dissolves.

3. Remove the eggnog and gelatin mixture from the heat and add the RumChata, brandy, and a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg.

4. Place the cinnamon sticks into 12 shot glasses and fill the glasses with the eggnog mixture. Refrigerate until set (approximately two hours).

5. Before serving, top with whipped cream, sprinkles, and a dusting of nutmeg.

*To make a non-alcoholic version, simply follow the recipe and leave out the alcohol. The eggnog shots will be a delicious treat with or without the RumChata and brandy.

Cheers to Christmas, New Year's, and the adventures to come!
